Fall Famous Flicks: At Rockefeller Park
We always appreciate our great neighborhood - and Battery Park City's 50th anniversary is now being celebrated with a fun fall film series!
Movies shot in Manhattan during the last 50 years are paired with cartoons and shorts that feature New York City.
It's free to watch these captivating combos Fridays at 7pm, at the beautiful setting of Rockefeller Park.

"Muppets take Manhattan" - which is preceded by the short film "Mighty Manhattan: New York's Wonder City":
“Shot in Manhattan in 1949, this travelogue visits many of the neighborhoods and landmarks on Manhattan Island, including local landmarks like Wall Street and Trinity Church, and also includes some shots of the West Side docks pre-Battery Park City.”
Sept 21: "Men In Black" (1997) with "A Hare Grows In Manhattan" (short)
Sept 28: "Spider-Man" (2002) with "Baseball Bugs" (short)
Happy 50th, BPC!
