Fall into Fun: With BPCA’s Fall Events

Fall doesn't just have fabulous foliage: Thanks to the Battery Park City Authority, Battery Park City also has a wide array of exciting fall events.

The BCPA's recently released Fall Programming Guide offers:

  • Fishing, nature and bluegrass and folk music! Each of their "Go Fish!" Saturdays begins with catch-and-release fishing, then a garden tour, and at noon, there's the main event: Music by exceptional bands Dan Zane & Friends, Key Wilde & Mr. Clarke, and The Crusty Gentlemen.
  • Movie nights at Rockefeller Park - which include the classic "Ghostbusters" and the 2016 "Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them".
  • A showcase of acappella groups, a performance of classics by the American Youth Orchestra, "Spooky Stories to Tickle Your Spine" (and get you in the mood for Halloween), public art tours, and Holiday Lights (to get your Christmas Cheer started).
  • Additionally, there are always physical and creative activities (like zumba, yoga, volleyball, tai chi - and drawing and chorus) for adults. As well as programs specifically tailored to teens - including morning meditation, and a DJ Night. Kids are covered too: With chess for children, an intro to gardening, and a workshop where they can learn bookmaking.

Take a look at the guide, and find your favorites.
