Sing for Hope’s 2017 Piano Launch Event!

Sing for Hope believes art - and music - is essential. They feel the arts have unique power to uplift and unite. "They fuel our imaginations, connect us to our communities, and tap into parts of ourselves that nothing else can."

The organization has outreach programs in under-resourced areas (including schools, community centers, veterans centers, healthcare facilities and elder homes). Amazing artists volunteer their talents to inspire and transform.

And on June 5th, beginning at noon, Sing for Hope has their Pianos Launch Event at Liberty Plaza (28 Liberty).

From June 5-26th, there will be 60 artist-designed pianos placed throughout New York City!

They'll be in parks and public spaces for everyone to play! And following the event, all the pianos go to NYC schools!

This will be their 6th Annual event.

The launch on June 5th will be a celebration with a full free day of musical performances  - from renowned NYC musicians and musical theatre performers. And an unveiling of the beautiful pianos!
