Battery Dance Festival – Free Outdoor Performances in Battery Park City
If you haven't yet caught the Battery Dance Festival, New York City’s longest running public dance festival, which began on Sunday, you luckily still have until Friday the 19th to see one of the free outdoor performances (and/or participate in their workshops)!
We may not be as light on our feet as these exceptional performers (few are), but the beauty of their movement is always spellbinding and inspiring.
All performances run from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park in Battery Park City (20 Battery Place).
And: The festival encourages kids to attend!
"At the end of each evening’s program, we host “Everybody Dance Now!” where the audience learns a segment of the choreography that was just performed, and kids are welcome to join!"
See the festival schedule on Battery Dance's site.
