Learn about Wine, Cheese and Charcuterie at Le District
You can select "Cheese", "Charcuterie" or "Wine Tasting" classes - all taught by industry professionals at Le District.
- The history of "Charcuterie", how to pair, how to create "The perfect Charcuterie plate", how to define and explain the differences between a pâté, à pâté en croute and a terrine, and how to serve them.
- How to identify cheeses by their rind, where they come from, creating great pairings with wine and beer, and the difference between raw vs. pasteurized cheese.
- An overview of the French wine market in New York, information about rose wines, sparkling wines, and white wines.
Classes are on Mondays at 6:30pm, beginning in April, and can be booked through Le District's site.
